Waxahachie Education Foundation John Hicks Memorial Scholarship Application

$500 in scholarship funds are available annually

For the application to be considered, students must meet ALL of the following criteria:
- Waxahachie ISD student, enrolled in WISD schools for his/her entire junior and senior years.
- Applicant must be planning to pursue a degree in journalism.
- An official high school transcript and SAT, ACT, or TSI score must be attached.
- Upload a personal statement, no longer than one page, concerning your primary life aspirations and how your post high school education will aid in fulfilling such aspiration.
- ALL requested information MUST be included on submitted applications. The application will NOT be considered if all information is not included.
- If the scholarship committee determines they would like to interview candidates, you must make yourself available for an interview.
- If these requirements are not met and submitted by the due date, the applicaton will not be considered.
