2026-2027 Adopter Application

Adopt-A-Class is a mutually beneficial partnership pairing local businesses and community organizations with individual classrooms in Waxahachie ISD. The WISD Partners in Education department began Adopt-A-Class as a pilot program during the Spring of 2008 at Northside Elementary with only three classes. The response to the program generated so much interest and excitement that it has expanded to include all 1st through 5th grade classes district wide, totaling more than 50 classes!

Standards of Commitment
I have read the Standards of Commitment and am excited to partner with WISD by adopting a classroom for the 2026-2027 school year. I will follow the guidelines set forth in the Volunteer Guide and will keep an open line of communication with my Teacher. I understand that all representatives from my organization must clear a background screening prior to entering the classroom.
